Hocus Pocus..Moebius~~I know it looked as if I had dropped off the face of the 'knitters earth'..but I came a few times to blog..and it wasn't cooperative..Frustrated I took my needles and ran..and failed to return for a while..but I will try to be a better 'blogster'...
Although I didn't post here..I still kept the needles 'clicking'...
This is a Moebius that I made when taking a class with Jan, this pattern is called The Lacy Shoulder Wrap and I used The South West Trading Company Oasis..it is black, although it appears grey.
It's quite lovely..feels very 'rich' against the skin.
I'm currently working on a few scarves, hats etc..and want to learn socks, but afraid I may have to wait until after the holidays..I have a lot going on and have committed myself to some other places that may not give me the time I need...but will miss the camaraderie of our Thurs. class..
Dana, thanks for keeping a current blog and sharing your gorgeous work..

Oh Dianne...I missed you at sock class. It's just not the same without you! :( What are your thoughts about mitten class? Do you think you'll have the time? [Please say yes]. :)

Your newest mobieus is breathtaking...just lovely. Honestly, YOU ARE AN ARTIST. My stuff is simple, bulky and incredibly easy, unlike these "wisps" you make that are so fine and lacy. I both admire and envy your talent -- I really do. P.S. I crashed in sock class. I put down the fine sock yarn and size 1 needles and said, "My sock is becoming a Christmas stocking and I reached over and grabbed a skein of Lamb's Pride and a size 8 circular needle. I could not keep up with the delicate knitting (at which, you are the expert). I felt like a buffalo amongst butterflies. LOLOLOLOL Have a great weekend and I hope to see you very soon!

Dana, I fear size 1..will be a bit intimidating for me..but I'm going to try the socks after the holidays. I've 'loaned' myself physically and emotionally to a friend for a few weeks, so she could get away, so I'm on call for her elderly parents and I was afraid to commit for the upcoming classes..I'd love to do mittens..just not sure I can do soon..Mike and I are returning to Mexico for 5 days on Nov. 3..and then it will almost be holiday full speed...and look at you..you're almost ready!!..I think a Stocking sounds perfect..can't wait to see it!!..hugs
