Strings and Things

What do you do with your yarn scraps?..I mean those that you snip off after binding off..

When I first began knitting and would leave a strand of yarn lying around, 'Moth'(Man Of The House) would collect it and started tying it together..Now, there may be a few skeins that slipped through the cracks on him while I was away at Moms but for the most part, I think he's gotten a smidgen...this is his display..a bit of a dust collector, but he's very proud of the blend of colors..
Happy Knitting and Spinning to All~~

What fun!

My snippets go in a bag and then I put them out in a birdfeeder that's hanging in the nandinas. I keep thinking the birds and squirrels will discover them and use them for their nests.

That's really pretty but I'm sure only a fiber lover would see that!! I have a little bag but most of it is Koigu snippets. I hope to use it on a quilt wall hanging as embellishment.

Thank you so much for your note. It means a lot to get a personal note now and then!
We are coming along, the (good) end is near!

Wow, that looks like a work of art! :) Im embarassed to say that I toss all my snips. Any left over yarns get wound into tiny balls and I put them in a wooden basket Andy made on our coffee table.

Mike had a brilliant idea with that. I generally toss out snippets too, but not anymore - - it's too pretty!
